Kevin Markey

Kevin Markey thinks "rain" and "out" together are two of the saddest words in the English language. When speaking of weather, "snow" and "day" are much better! Other notable word combos include "walk-off homer," "high heat," and "lasting friendships," all concepts that appear in his books, which have been known to produce gales of laughter (another good one) in readers of all ages.

 

Kevin is the author of the beloved Super Sluggers series of baseball adventures, including Slumpbuster, Wall Ball, Wing Ding, and Rainmaker. He lives in Northampton, Massachusetts, with his family and their charmingly pushy pets. He bats left, throws left, and types with both hands.
